Stealing a page from the Artists 4 Israel playbook, Hamas has decided to begin making movies in an attempt to win over the hearts and minds of the world. Unlike Artists 4 Israel, however, they tend to use guns and bombs when the movies don't work.
Much is being said of Fathi Hamad, Gaza's Hamas interior minister and his work in directing and producing a film about Emad Akel, a noted terrorist and transvestite who would dress up like women to avoid being caught by the Israeli army. When he finally put his Chastity Bono to the side and picked up a gun, he was shot dead by the expert men and women of the IDF.
Today, his story is being romanticized by Hamas. I hope that all who see this movie are much more horrified by the inexplicable hatred and violence of this man than they are seduced by the Hollywood style trickery of its production.
